On May 10, 2023, we ushered in the seventh China Brand Day. On May 10, 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the important exposition of "transforming 'Made in China' into 'Created in China', 'Chinese speed' into 'Chinese quality', and 'Chinese products' into 'Chinese brands'" during his inspection of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group in Henan. This gave direction to promote the transformation and upgrading of our country's industrial structure and the creation of Chinese brands. Since 2017, the State Council has set May 10 as "China Brand Day".
This year's China Brand Expo established online and offline exhibition platforms. The offline exhibition was held at the Shanghai Expo Exhibition Hall, where more than 900 selected brand enterprises and 38 central enterprises, including China Tourism Group, were showcased.
The theme of China Tourism Group's exhibition this year is "CTG's Century-Long Journey through Time". The booth is located in Hall H1 of the Shanghai Expo Exhibition Hall, covering an area of 315 square meters. With a background of the group's centennial celebration, it conveys the brand power of CTG as the century-old tourism central enterprise in the overall tone of tourism assisting in a quality new life. A curved large screen displays CTG's brand promotional video and related business videos. The exhibition site sets up an interactive screen for a hundred years of CTG time echo, which presents the century-old development history of the China Tourism Group through touch screen and circular display screen, serving as a miniature of the entrepreneurial history of China's modern tourism industry.
As the flagship of the group's tourism investment and operation business, CTG International displays its brand image and signature scenic spots (in VR format) at this expo. The site also sets up a "Century-old CTG for Meeting in Every World Corner" interactive photo session. People can immerse themselves in the group's scenic spots such as Shapotou and Detian Waterfall in the virtual scenes and instantly obtain photos by scanning QR codes. "VR panoramic roaming" also attracted a lot of attention. Participants can enter various attractions and experience star-studded scenic spots in an immersive manner by following the virtual navigation map through a brand-new interactive experience.
