Since the specialization-centered reform, CTG International has taken a series of measures around the company's strategic positioning and development goals to promote the core competencies of headquarters and enhance corporate management.

On the afternoon of May 25, 2023, CTG International's training program on core competence was officially launched. The first training seminar, themed "How to Become an Effective Manager", was delivered by Professor Zhao Shuming, a renowned scholar in the field of management. More than 400 people, including BG leadership, heads of headquarters departments, business backbones, management teams and department heads of companies under the BG, participated in the training conducted both on-site and online.

With insight theories and case studies, Professor Zhao Shuming introduced the connotation of effective management to the participants. He provided an in-depth interpretation of how to enhance management effectiveness and become an effective manager from perspectives such as time management, contribution focus, leveraging strengths, agenda prioritizing, and effective decision-making. The participants iterated on the understanding of the qualities and capabilities that an effective manager should possess, especially on the tenet that it's not only about "doing things right", but more importantly, it is about "doing the right things".
